The Forest is a horror game, with strong survival elements. Endnight Games has created one of the best survival simulators we have ever seen! However, the game itself is not so typical! We are not alone there! We are not only surrounded by animals, but also mutants, having different types of bodies and abilities! Some are fast, some are very strong… Survival in the wilderness is not an easy task, and protecting yourself from these creatures makes the game much more difficult, which makes it even more interesting! Do you like challenges? This game is for you!
The story is shown from the perspective of the first person, and the world of The Forest itself is of unknown size. Many lakes, areas inhabited by different species of animals and a powerful complex of underground caves. In the plane wreck you will find some useful things, as well as during exploring the caves! Every tree can be cut down and every animal can be hunted. This game has no limits! Realism results in the fact that if we hunt too much, the number of animals in a given area will decrease. Remember, however, that hunting is simply not enough! We need a campfire which should be properly constructed and the meat prepared, which also takes time and makes the game even more realistic.
